A 26-year-old woman from Utah has been charged with a misdemeanor after a sex tape was shared with a man she had just met on Tinder.The man, who is not identified in court documents, told police he immediately knew something was wrong when he saw himself holding the phone and wearing only his underwear. He said the woman suddenly became angry and began blocking his number as soon as they met up later that day."When I got back up to show her the video, she freaked out," said the man. "Next thing I know, her and her guy friend were trying to attack me. I threw the video down and ran away." The woman said she had been drinking and wasn't aware she was being recorded. She told police she felt "woozy" when she woke up the next morning and received a text message from the man who sent her the videos demanding $2,000 in exchange for his silence."I was scared I was going to get in trouble," she said. "I made a stupid decision and regret it and only wanted to talk to him one more time before deleting him off my Facebook. I apologize for making a video." Police said they don't know the identity of the man who sent the video to the woman, but he could still face charges. The woman pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct and was placed on probation.
